Simple Maintenance Tips For Bike

WARM YOUR ENGINE
When starting the engine after a day’s break the oil inside the engine completely settles in the engine oil sump. So when your engine is cold, revving it hard and big throttle openings cause a lot of wear and damage. Hence warm up gently by slightly revving up. This increases the oil flow to spread uniformly into the engine parts and prevents damage to the engine. Good lubricants contain special anti-wear additives to protect the engine during the critical warm-up period. You can still help it out by taking things easy until it's fully warmed up. then ride slower than usual for a few miles.
