Yamaha
Motor India has finally launched its first stylish new scooter Ray. It’s the
Yamaha’s first scooter model to enter into the Indian scooter segment. The Ray
is very stylish, youthful and sporty. Earlier this year Ray was unveiled in New
Delhi auto expo and has finally hit the markets now. The Ray’s seat height and
other features were primarily focused on female riders. Hopefully the style of
this scooter looks cool comparatively to the recently launched competitors like
Suzuki swish, Honda Dio and Mahindra Rodeo.
The
Ray is powered by a 113cc, 4-stroke, 2-valve, SOHC engine that produces 7.1PS @
7500 RPM with a maximum torque of 8.1Nm @ 5000 RPM. The Yamaha Ray will be
available in six color shades, pink, purple, blue, burgundy, grey and black.
